Solo Travel Adventures of DNA
I’m Danielle, aka DNA, and I started this blog to document my experiences, my thoughts, and my images of a solo travel adventure that I am embarking on in 2019. At age 24, I had the opportunity to travel for the first time in my life. I had been on vacations before, ahem..cruises, but I hadn’t actually traveled until 2018. I had the opportunity to spend three months in the Caribbean on the beautiful island of St. Croix working with hawksbill and green sea turtles. Coming back to Los Angeles, which had been my home for almost 7 years – southern California has been home my entire life – I realized I needed to stop making excuses. I needed a creative outlet but didn’t know where to start and my drive to save money and pay off my student loans took priority over experiences. I’m writing this now to keep myself accountable to make travel a priority and nourish my creativity along the way while still moving through the world in a ‘ sustainable way. I’ve got an epic adventure planned and this blog will be my way of documenting it. Thanks for being here and going on this journey with me!
