Ya girl did it! 🎓💃🏽 Starting a masters degree in the middle of the pandemic, while also working full-time…10/10 would not recommend. But I still had the time of my life at UM! Thankful for all the folks I met and learned from along the way. Thankful for the three different states I called home throughout this degree. Thankful to keep contributing to marine conservation research and protecting the turtles🐢 (and now I get to add whales and dolphins to the list)🐋
A dreamy city with the best tour guides. What a way to welcome in 29💚
California, oh how I miss you💚 quick trip back home to see family, friends, and eat all the food that I can’t get in Florida😂
Yesterday, my dad asked me what the black and white challenge was that he kept seeing on social media. I said “I’m not sure.” Thanks to women like @neennuuhhh and @jacqueline.espinoza, I was educated about this movement and how it started. Then, I was nominated by @shea_budda24
In honor of World Turtle Day.....forever in awe of these creatures. The sass, the strength, the beauty. Not even shark bites and missing fins can stop ‘em. No matter how much sand I’ve gotten flung in my face and stuck in my hair, or how bad the smell of an excavation (if you know....you KNOW), the turts have my heart💚🐢💚 *photos taken during permitted conservation activities or at appropriate distances in the water. Please remember to respect wildlife, keep distance, and do not handle.
At such a loss for words right now. The lakers and Kobe are so close to my heart, such a huge part of my childhood and my family. It was an honor to grow up watching you play. RIP Kobe, Gianna and the others that were on board😔
